"Correspondance d'artistes"

For the third time, the "Correspondances d'Artistes" will go public: Saturday March 10, 2007 3:00 pm, at the Odeon Theatre in Paris. This new appointment will echo to the creation of the Eugene Labiche theatre play "L'affaire de la rue de Lourcine", directed by Jerome Deschamps and Macha Makeieff. The Association "Les Mots Parleurs" offers an exceptional reading in full voice by Valerie Delbore and Carole Bergen of the unpublished texts written by Anne-Marie Garat and François Salvaing in echo to "L'affaire de la rue de Lourcine".

Paris February 21, 2007 -- Throughout the season 2006-2007, the theater "Odeon-Theatre de l'Europe", the "Mots Parleurs" and the House of writers bring together various talents to organize a creative confrontation - comment, counterpoint - between four dramatic works, created in the theatre, and four times two contemporary authors. The third creation to enter the play is "L'affaire de la rue de Lourcine", directed by Jerome Deschamps and Macha Makeieff. Saturday 10 March 2007 at 3:00 pm, the Association "Les Mots Parleurs" (the words that speak) offers a reading in full voice interpreted by Carole Bergen and Valerie Delbore -in French- of the writings of Anne-Marie Garat and François Salvaing, the authors who accepted to write in echo to "L'affaire de la rue de Lourcine" and to experiment an exchange with the public. This exceptional reading will be followed by a confrontation between the public, the authors, the directors of the play" and the interpreters from the "Mots parleurs" and led by Maria Mailat, writer and anthropologist.

Anne-Marie Garat was born in Bordeaux. Her work includes essays, novels and articles about literature, photographic and cinematographic arts. She was awarded the Femina prize for "Aden", published by Le Seuil publisher in 1992. Her last novels, "La Rotonde" and "Dans la main du diable", were published by Actes Sud, respectively in 2003 and 2006.

François Salvaing has published more than twenty books - novels, short texts, chronicles - from 1974 on. Among his novels, "Misayre ! Misayre !", published by Gallimard, was awarded the "Livre Inter" prize and "Parti" the prize of the "Société des Gens de Lettres". His last works were published in 2006 : "La Phrase" by "Mille et une nuits" publisher and "Jourdain" by Fayard.
